All caddies are made of solid woods with prime plywood bottoms. They are assembled with brass nails and glued. The bottom has been routed so it fits flush with the framework. The approximate measurements are 44" x 12" x 2-1/2" unless otherwise stated.. This allows for a nice fit behind the seats between the speakers. This does not interfere with storage of roof panel. Each unit comes with velcro to help secure it without damaging carpet.
